Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge

MEG developed an international marketing plan for the expansion of the iconic Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, which has attracted around 10,000 riders annually since its inception in 1977.

Event Outcome:

MEG provided a market report for the purposes of evaluating whether the event can acquire and sustain 12,000 participants annually. MEG reviewed the event experience and value proposition, identified product development opportunities, targeted participation levels and marketing and promotional strategies. The outcome of the market report provided the event with sufficient support to receive funding to complete an international marketing plan.
