World Dance Crew Championships

MEG is providing the event delivery, marketing, and commercialisation of the new international biennial World Dance Crew Championships, 2025 and 2027.

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™

This was an eight year journey with MEG being the sole FIFA approved consultant. MEG worked with government, host cities, stadiums, training sites and FIFA to complete the initial Feasibility Plan and project managed the successful bid to help New Zealand win the co-hosting of the record breaking FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™.

World Surf League Challenger Series

MEG provided the full event delivery, liaised closely with WSL as the global rights holder along with sponsors and key partners to ensure the event met world class standards and expectations.

FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup

MEG provided the full end-to-end event management and marketing services to oversee the successful delivery of FIFA’s first ever U17 Women’s World Cup.

FIBA

MEG has worked on multiple projects with Basketball and FIBA.

ICC Cricket World Cup

MEG played a critical pre-event planning role for the ICC Cricket World Cup, producing the creation of a best practice foundation planning manual for ICC and New Zealand Cricket to assist them with their pre-event planning.

IMGA World Masters Games

MEG project managed the successful bid and produced a detailed sports venue and city infrastructure assessment. This included a marketing plan, leverage and legacy plan, workforce plan, budget, risk profile and assessment of potential economic and legacy benefits, which determined the feasibility of hosting the event.

UCI Track Cycling World Cup

MEG completed a feasibility review to make recommendations on the costs and benefits of hosting this UCI event.

The Ocean Race Stopover

MEG was commissioned to develop a national leverage and legacy plan to maximise the regular hosting of The Ocean Race Stopover.

ICF Canoe Slalom Junior & U23 World Championships

MEG was engaged to provide the full project development and preparation of the bid book in close collaboration with the National Sports Federation, the host city, white water canoeing facility and the government.

World Gay Games

MEG conducted a feasibility plan that included reviewing suitable sports venue and city infrastructure assessments, a comprehensive marketing plan, leverage and legacy plan workforce plan, budget, risk profile and an overall assessment of potential economic and legacy benefits.

Invictus Games

MEG reviewed the feasibility of hosting The Invictus Games, an international adaptive multi-sport event established by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, in 2014.

World Rally Championships

MEG provided a practical commercial plan to improve the long term commercial viability of hosting an ongoing leg of the World Rally Championships.

Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge

MEG developed an international marketing plan for the expansion of the iconic Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, which has attracted around 10,000 riders annually since its inception in 1977.
